Mr. Deepak Kumar Sharma is the Managing Director of BainBridge Navigation Pte. Ltd.

With 17 years of experience in Shipping, he owes a strong position in the market and a close relationship with the shipping majors.

He started his career in 2002 sailing on board with ‘American President Lines’ and then after 3 years of sailing moved on to the shore with ‘Daiichi Chuo Kisen Kaisha’ at their Singapore office. In 2010, he relocated to India and joined ‘CMB Bocimar’ group before starting the dry bulk desk of ‘Norvic Shipping North America, Toronto’.

With a constant exposure to dry bulk chartering for a couple of years, he established “BainBridge Navigation Pte Ltd, Singapore” in February, 2017 along with his colleagues from Norvic Shipping. In the last 12 months, BainBridge rapidly defined itself as a USD 210 million turnover company, transporting around 14 million metric tonnes of cargo in 2018 with a fleet of 42 vessels on water. Starting with Dry Bulk Cargo operating in Indian and Pacific Markets, he has a vision to enter into Mediterranean and Atlantic markets and also into Commercial Management very soon.

The kind of market reputation, cargo quantity and vessel’s his organization operate – talks no less about the success of his hard work in early years of inception of his organization.
