Effective from January 15, rates for the PEX2 service will be raised to US$1,050 per TEU $1,500 per FEU and US$1,500 per FEU high cube.

Also from January 15, the general rate increase on the trade lanes from Asia to Mexico, west coast of South America and west coast of Central America will be increased to US$750 per TEU.

Ahead of these rate hikes, the freight all kinds (FAK) rates from Asia to North Europe will from January 9 be upped to $1,300/TEU, $2,500/FEU, $2,550/ FEU high cube, and $2,550 per reefer. The FAK covers dry, out of gauge (OOG), paying empties, breakbulk and reefer cargoes.

The new FAK rates will apply from all Asian origin ports, including Japan, Southeast Asia and Bangladesh, to all Northern European ports, including the UK and the full range from Portugal to Finland/Estonia.
