Transparency plan of Mumbai Port Trust, a novel concept initiated by Shri Sanjay Bhatia, IAS, Chairman, Mumbai Port Trust to streamline the processes and procedures to reduce the scope of corruption, has been successfully implemented in Mumbai Port Trust.
The main features of this concept was to create changing minds program, responsibility authority matrix for officials dealing with tender from stage of estimate to final execution, Epayments and E-receipts, Mobile App for stake-holders grievances, Computerized Access Control System and Eapplications for Licenses/Permits/Document submissions.
The Chairman, Mumbai Port Trust has taken the initiative to eradicate corruption by introducing Grievance Redressal System, allocated Whistle Blower Policy, e-Governance alongwith online real –time customer feedback.
The CVC has appreciated this novel concept and has acknowledged the same by publishing it in its Annual report 2016.
The Chairman has conveyed his best wishes to the Officers and staff and congratulated on this occasion.
