About Capt. Vinay Singh
Capt. Vinay Singh, Managing Director, Anglo- Eastern Ship Management (India), heads the largest crewing operation from India. He has 36 years of experience in Shipping including 19 years of active sea service experience.
Capt. Singh is an alumni of T.S. Rajendra, who joined Anglo Eastern Ship Management as 3rd Officer in 1986, after completing his apprenticeship with Shipping Corporation of India. After serving on various kind of ship in ascending capacity, he took over command in 1995 and took his first assignment with Safety & Quality department of Anglo-Eastern in 1998.
He is a Qualified ISM & ISO Auditor, Loss Assessor who has also worked with HSEQ, Port Agency Operations and P&I services. He has been associated with or represented various Industry bodies e.g. Nautical Institute, Chartered Institute of Transport, Chartered Institute of Ship Brokers, Indian council of Arbitrators, Company of Master Mariners, National Welfare Board for Seafarers, National Maritime Board etc. He is also a Director and Ex Chairman of Maritime Association of Ship Owners, Ship Managers & Agents (MASSA).
