In April, 2016, vide National Waterways Act, 2016, 111 Waterways were declared as National Waterways. Mr. Pravir Pandey gave us an update on the progress of the project, and how it is going to reduce the logistics Costs. There is a huge opportunity for private sector in this sector. He answered many questions ranging from employment generation to ease of transportation of goods through Inland Waterways.
