Capt. Anil Kumar Srivastava is the Chief Operating Officer at LSS Ocean Transport Ltd (LSSOT) formerly known as Libra Shipping Services Ltd. He is an accomplished executive and an industry leader with over 44 years of domestic and international experience in Port Operations, Legal, Protection and Indemnity matters, Arbitration, Charter Party and Trade Contract Management, Supply Chain, Port Navigation and Ship Board Sea experience.
Capt. Srivastava also has over 27 years of experience in handling legal disputes, arbitration and mediation matters and is a renowned authority in Technical, Commercial and Operational management of Merchant Ships. A decisive leader and a strong negotiator, on several occasions Capt. Srivastava has successfully managed drastic, complex and challenging situations that have resulted in phenomenal savings over the years for his employers.
Capt. Srivastava is a graduate of T.S. Rajendra, batch of 1972-1974 and holds a Master Mariner (F.G.) designation from the Directorate General of Shipping, India. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of Delhi and certifications in Supply Chain and Material Management. He is a Fellow of the Indian Council of Arbitration and a panel arbitrator, and also a maritime expert on panel of Emirates Maritime Arbitration Center, Dubai. During his sea tenure he has served on board for various leading shipping companies in several positions ranging from Cadet to that of Master. His most notable on shore assignments include serving for Paradip Port Trust as Senior Pilot, Assistant Chartering officer at the Ministry of Surface Transport, Ports Operations Manager for Western Bulk Carriers and his tenure at Libra Shipping Services Ltd
During his tenure LSS Ocean Transport Ltd (LSSOT) grew from its infancy to a leading chartering organization with a strong international repute. Today LSSOT is a market leader with a strong brand presence and operates lifting volumes up to 64 MT annually.
