South Korea June thermal coal imports at eight-month low: customs

South Korea imported 8.22 million mt of thermal coal in June, down slightly from the 8.24 million mt it imported in May and the lowest monthly total since October 2017, according to customs data.

Imports of Australian coal were 1.8 million mt, up 4% on the month but down 27% from the year ago month

Imports of Russian coal were 1.4 million mt, down 6% on the month and 23% on the year.
