Capt. Shajan Lukose, Head of Maritime at Fleetwood Nautical Campus to Address Global Audience at “India Shipping & Offshore Summit 2018”

Lukose is very well known in shipping fraternity for his contribution in education and training. About Capt. Shajan Lukose:

Capt. Shajan Lukose is Head of Maritime Operations at Fleetwood Nautical Campus, where he joined in 2014 from South Tyneside College where he was Head of Simulation and Senior Marine.  His responsibilities at B&FC – one of the UK’s top nautical establishments - include oversight of all maritime education and training provision.  He also serves as a senior external verifier for the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA).

His specialisms include nautical science and marine management, for which he holds a number of qualifications, including an HND Nautical Science (from South Tyneside College) and Master FG (MCA).  He also holds a Bachelor of Science (Physics) from Mahatma Gandhi University, PGCE from the University of Sunderland, a CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership, and most recently, an external verifier award from the Scottish Qualification Authority.

Originally from Kochi, India, he has lived in the UK since 1996.  He now resides in Blackpool with his wife, Lindsay, and two children, Jesse and Gabriel.
