Capt.  Sanjay Goel is a merchant navy captain having served on grabbed and self-unloading bulkers. He joined the prestigious T.S Rajendra in 1983 & worked on board Five Star Shipping Company’s from Cadet to Master. He has worked ashore for last 27 years in senior management position controlling dry cargo handling, barging, stevedoring, floating cranes, ship agency, ship chartering, bulk commodity trading, etc. He was pioneer of Ship Operating business from India in the year-2000.
 
He has handled more than 100 million metric tonnes of dry bulk as a port operator in major and minor ports in India and the Middle East and over 30 million metric tonnes as a vessel charterer worldwide.
 
He is currently handling port operations and ocean transport for the company's activities related to loading and discharging of steam coal, clinker, gypsum, slag, and bagged cement in South African ports i.e. Coega, Cape Town, Richards Bay Dry Bulk Terminal, Multi-purpose Terminal, and various ports in the Middle East, India, Vietnam, etc as well. 
 
He is also involved in procuring dry bulk commodities for cement grinding plant in South Africa & marketing of coal. He is one of few Master Mariners involved in complete end to end solutions from Logistics, Trading, Marketing, mid-sea lighterage operation including floating cranes, ship agency and Dry Bulk chartering on time and voyage.

He takes keen personal interest in training and teaching freshers from Marine training institute and given apprenticeship training to candidates from T.S Chankya. He is executive committee member of CMMI Navi Mumbai chapter & takes keen interest in organizing CMMI NM various sporting tournaments  and technical seminars.
