Capt. Anshul Rajvanshi is one of the best-known names in the shipping fraternity. A leading expert in Maritime Recruitment with nearly more than two decades of domain experience.

He is considered a shining example of leadership, courage, and dedication in the maritime fraternity. His maritime journey began in 1991 at the prestigious TS Rajendra, where he laid the foundation of his career by refining his skills and passion for the sea.

He started his professional voyage with the Shipping Corporation of India (SCI), where he made a significant impact early on. A defining moment in his time at SCI was his involvement in a daring rescue operation off the coast of Mumbai. Despite challenging conditions, Capt. Rajvanshi helped save three lives in peril, showcasing his bravery and commitment to his duty.

In 2000, Capt. Rajvanshi transitioned to a leading Ship Management company, where he rose to the rank of Captain by 2001. His leadership was instrumental in the company’s rapid fleet expansion, growing from fewer than 100 vessels to over 300 by 2015. Throughout his time at the organisation, Capt. Rajvanshi maintained a strong focus on promoting Indian seafarers, ensuring they were placed at the forefront of global operations.

By 2015, Capt. Rajvanshi took on a pivotal role at Synergy Group, where he oversaw the transformation of their manning operations, helping the company grow to manage a fleet of over 660 ships. His leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic was nothing short of exemplary—he arranged special charter flights for stranded Indian seafarers, facilitating their return home at no cost, further cementing his dedication to seafarer welfare. During expansion of Synergy Group, his focus has been to promote Indian seafarers including diversity at sea.

In addition to his maritime achievements, Capt. Rajvanshi is a martial arts enthusiast, having competed in several tournaments during his youth. This personal discipline carried over to his professional life, as evidenced during a critical incident at sea. When a fire broke out on board, Capt. Rajvanshi’s quick thinking saved numerous lives, including that of a trapped Radio Officer, by raising the alarm and guiding the crew to safety.
