The investment proposal also includes digital systems to streamline port operations, reduce turnaround time and support faster movement of goods.
Officials noted that the expansion is aligned with Tamil Nadu’s long-term vision to boost industrial growth, attract global manufacturers and strengthen its role in international trade.
