About Mr. Deepak Kumar Sharma

Mr. Deepak Kumar Sharma is the Managing Director of BainBridge Navigation Group.

He completed his shipping studies at Singapore Maritime Academy and pursued an MBA in Operations Management from SP Jain School of Global Management, Singapore.

His professional journey spans nearly two decades, and it all began in 2004 when he sailed onboard with NSSPL (Part of APL-NOL Group). He then transitioned to the role of Operations and Chartering at Daiichi Chuo Shipping (Singapore) Pte Ltd, where he spent around 2 years in Chartering and vessel Operations.

His career continued to evolve as he took on the responsibilities of Manager- Chartering and Shipping at CMB Bocimar. Subsequently, he moved to Norvic Shipping, where he established the Dry Bulk Desk for the company and spent nearly five years playing a pivotal role in the company’s success during his tenure.

In 2017, he embarked on a new and exciting chapter in his career by founding BainBridge Navigation. His entrepreneurial spirit and wealth of experience continue to drive the success of this endeavor.

BainBridge Navigation operates as a prominent operator and owner within the dry bulk and tanker segments. The company is dedicated to providing tailored and efficient freight solutions to clients globally, thereby contributing significantly to the cost-effective and secure transportation of commodities across various destinations worldwide.

Since its inception, the company has successfully completed over 3,500 voyage fixtures across more than 10,000 port calls globally, carrying approximately 205 million MT of cargo. At any given time, BainBridge operates a fleet of 65–70 vessels worldwide.
