Free NUSI Vaccination Drive for all ranks of seafarers, spouse and children 18 Plus (Pilot project in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai)
As you are aware that National Union of Seafarers of India (NUSI) has been consistently in the forefront for Covid vaccination for seafarers throughout India. It is important for our seafarers to get the vaccination for their own safety and for the continuation of their employment. The NUSI Vaccination Drive which started on 12th June, 2021 in Andheri and Navi Mumbai on 15th June, 2021 aims to vaccinate at least 5000 seafarers and their family members.
We are pleased to inform you that NUSI Vaccination Drive for all ranks of seafarers was a great success and benefitted our seafarers to retain their jobs.
NUSI is planning a similar pilot-project, including the second dose, on a pan-India level after 21st June, 2021.
