Supramax Freight Rates:

1. East Kalimantan to Navlakhi (West Coast India):
   • Estimated rate for a 55,000 mt coal cargo from East Kalimantan to Navlakhi on Sept 3: $ 15.45/mt, down 30 cents/mt from Sep 2.

1. East Kalimantan to Paradip (East Coast India):
   • Estimated rate for a 55,000 mt coal cargo from East Kalimantan to Paradip on Sept 3: $ 14.15/mt, down 25 cents/mt from Sept. 2.

1. Persian Gulf to Paradip:
   • Estimated rate for a 50,000 mt limestone cargo from Mina Saqr in the UAE to Paradip on Sept 3: $ 12.40/mt, down 25 cents/mt from Sept. 2.

        4.   South Africa to Navlakhi:

• • Estimated rate for a 50,000 mt coal cargo from RBCT to Navlakhi on Sept 3: $ 18.75/mt, unchanged from Sept. 2.

      Panamax Freight Rates:

1. East Australia to Paradip:
   • Estimated rate for a 75,000 mt (plus/minus 10%) metallurgical coal cargo from Hay Point to Paradip on Sept 3: $ 17.05/mt, down 25 cents/mt from Sept. 2.

1. Indonesia to Krishnapatnam (East Coast India):
   • Estimated rate for a 75,000 mt (plus/minus 10%) thermal coal cargo from Banjarmasin to Krishnapatnam on Sept 3: $ 8.55/mt, unchanged from Sept. 2.

1. Indonesia to Dahej  (West Coast India):
   • Estimated rate for a 75,000 mt (plus/minus 10%) thermal coal cargo from Banjarmasin to Dahej on Sept 3: $ 10.00/mt, down 5 cents/mt from Sept. 2.

1. South Africa to Paradip:
   • Estimated rate for a 75,000 mt (plus/minus 10%) thermal coal cargo from Richards Bay Coal Terminal to Paradip on Sept 3: $ 15.95/mt, down 20 cents/mt from Sept. 2.

Asia-Pacific Supramax market freight rates edged lower on Sept. 3. Meanwhile, bunker prices also trended lower on the day.

On the Indonesia-India coal route, its reported that  fresh coal enquiries were limited on the day as most of the requirements for end Aug. loading dates

have been already covered earlier.

An indicative offer of low-$15/mt was heard for moving a 55,000-mt +/- 10% coal from Muara Berau to Navlakhi for Sept. 16-22 laycan.

Out of the Indian Ocean, a 50/55,000mt iron ore pellets  from New Mangalore to Jinzhou for Sept. 5-18 laycan was heard fixed at around mid- to high $10/mt levels.

Fixing information, however, was scant out of the Persian Gulf on Sept. 3.

Asia-Pacific Panamax market freight rates trended lower on Sept. 3 as tonnage supply continued to outweigh cargo demand in the Pacific basin.

Freight derivative rates also extended losses during Asian trading hours, while bunker prices saw a downward movement day over day.

On the Indonesia-India coal route, a 70,000 mt +/- 10% coal from Muara Berau to Magdalla for Sept. 12-19 laycan was heard fixed at around $10.75/mt.

Out of South Africa, an indicative offer at mid-$13/mt, free of port charges at the discharge port, was heard for moving a 75,000 mt (plus/minus 10%) coal

cargo from Richards Bay Coal Terminal to Visakhapatnam for mid-September loading dates.
