OPECplus set to raise July oil output by 188,000 barrels per day

news-details

Seven leading OPEC+ oil-producing countries are likely to agree to a modest increase in July output when they meet on June 7, according to a Reuters report on Thursday.

The monthly target set by the seven core members is expected to rise by approximately 188,000 barrels per day, though delivery for several nations remains disrupted by the Iran war.

OPEC+ maintained steady output in the first quarter of 2026 but has raised its target each month since April, despite ongoing conflict. The size of the monthly increases has been reduced since May following the United Arab Emirates’ exit from the group.

The departure of the UAE decreases OPEC+’s market influence but may strengthen internal cohesion among remaining members, the report noted.
